  • I am a software engineer. On a day to day basis I am working on developing new applications for our current projects or helping update an implement new features on current ones.

  • I have increased my knowledge of Java, C++, XML, Maven, ClearCase, Jenkins, RHEL, Virtual Machines, GIT and many more.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Every day is enjoyable and I am extremely happy with what I do. I love getting into work and it's all I can think about at night. However my managers make have made it clear to me that uni is my priority and to focus most on that.

  • It lacks some structure for new starters however after that it is extremely well organised in finding tasks and building up apprentice confidence

  • I receive support from every dimension and angle possible. I never go without and never struggle and they provide me with everything I need to ensure I can do my job and university fully.

  • A lot. They encourage out of hours contact if we require help and provide us with all the necessary materials to work our best

  • What I do in university ties in very closely with my working life so the transition is easy and provides me with the skills I need to work better.

  • Yes, I am constantly being invited to sessions and learning events and networking events.
