Work experience Review

Over the course of three weeks I took part in the multiple team activities such as team building, dragons den and multiple visits to businesses like the BBC Scotland and Barclays Bank before doing a weeks experience in a accounts office within EY

Overall my communication skills were developed a lot aswell as my team working skills as working in a team was a main part of the experience

To be honest the experience was amazing and I would do it again and again if in was given the opportunity

The work experience was organised very well with different activities arranged everyday

The work experience gave me a real insight into the work of accountants and made me want to work in that sector of the business more and more as the work experience went on

The work experience helped me decide my from the minute i started the work experience and after I recieved a mentor to help me with applications and forms for university

Yes I recieved a total between £400 and £500 for taking part in the work experience

Yes throughout the week different employees and networks came to talk to the group to give different presentations on what their job role was

EY was such an amazing opportunity and I have met many different people within the experience
