  • Ey's culture is very inclusive and diverse and fits in really well with myself as i come from a BAME background. • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Induction was very well planned out and organised. Gave a good introduction to the firm. Training is a little less organised but that is because the provider is relatively new but is open to feedback and is adapting well to this. Career counsellor is very empathetic and has helped a massive amount. Always looking at ways to enhance my experiences and accelerate my career. addresses any issues with my qualifications quickly.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Always opportunities to expand skillset by applying for a range of learning/qualifications. This is encouraged through a globally accredited badge program. Career mentors are trained to ensure they can maximise your learning and place you in positions to apply this. There is a clear escalation process which gives a comfortable amount of reassurance when issues arrise.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The provider has support through various means. Lecturers are generally always at hand to help with day to day learning issues. Apprenticeship Mentors help with any wider concerns and regularly informally catch-up. there are also more formal quarterly meetings to discuss progress and concerns. We also have cohort leaders at EY which are overall responsible for guidance and delivery for our qualifications.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • to a large extent - we are working to showcase our learning to the wider business through our internal communication networks. This helps us to join team requiring certain digital/tech skills we have studied. It is difficult to put theory into practise as many advanced tech skills are not exercised in our services.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There's multiple networks ranging from different faiths to different interests. Everyone is free to join whichever even if they dont belong to a certain group. So for example anyone can join the women in technology network (not only open for women). There are also London and Regional Sports teams and they are continuously sending comms to participate.
