  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really much enjoy the work aspect of it and I am learning a lot. However, I must admit I am not totally satisfied with the teaching and learning opportunities at the college where we are studying.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • On paper it is very well organised and this is very well reflected on the day to day work whether it is on client site, internal work or other personal/business development activities. However, the college is not well organised and it is difficult for us to keep track of everything.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I get a lot of support from my employer. Everybody is very supportive and very accessible to us. In case we have any issues, the team is very keen on getting our feedback from the different experiences and they act upon the things which we feel like need to be improved or changed.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Not as much as needed. In general the training provider is not well organised and they do not seem to plan things well in advance. This has been highlighted throughout our experience at the college where dates were not handed out to us and there was incongruence between what was being promised and what was actually delivered.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I don't feel very well about it. There certainly are some aspects of it that do in some way help me to perform better but in general I feel that they are not fully explored.

    10/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are plenty of extra-curricular activities ranging from sports teams and charity associations to cooking clubs and skiing groups.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Deloitte to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is an incredibly friendly environment where people are supported and pushed to do better under every aspect of work and life. There are plenty of learning opportunities and everyone is really conscious of the work-life balance that has to be maintained.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte?
  • Be open minded and show recruiters that you have the ability to approach issues from different point of views taking into consideration as many variables as possible while doing this.
