  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I work on a team that handles the administration of several occupational pension schemes. My day-to-day work consists of monitoring client email folders, taking member phone calls and answering any queries they may have regarding their pension, monitoring client deadlines to ensure that they are met, managing the bank account for the various pension schemes to ensure we have enough money for things such as paying pensioners and producing quotations for members.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Overall, I would say that it was fairly well organised, however, as I was part of the first batch of apprentices that BW took on, there were some kinks that arose. These have now been dealt with and I'm sure any new apprentices would find their path in the apprenticeship programme very clear and laid out.
