I help create models and rigs so that we can run test work and solve problems. Simulating how something in particular will react so that we can do predictive testing and therefore not run invalid physical tests. I also create flow charts of jobs that need completing.
I have learnt to use Matlab and am improving knowledge and use of other computer tools.
I enjoy the work parts of the program, the college parts were dreadful. University is better though.
Very in structure of overall years, we know what courses we will be doing and when things will be happening but don't specifically know about placements and other minor parts of the apprenticeship.
This seems to depend on where you work, and is also variable depending on other events within the company.
At college there was an extreme limitation of this. University provides more but in some cases it can be difficult to find.
My qualification is improving my instincts and understanding of how different systems should work. But we have done nothing that directly correlates with my role.
I organise social events after work and around Christmas. There are also the occasional events when people leave.

The degree is from an excellent university, you are working for a very good company. And as long as you put yourself out there and make sure to talk to people you will have a good time.
Be open, honest, and make sure your team working skills are on point.
