  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • As a whole, I work closely with my team to take care of the salaries and benefits that employees within the company receive. I am able to communicate with people within the business, as well as outside of the business on a regular basis. Daily tasks can include answering employee queries, gathering data, and providing salary ranges for various roles.

  • I really feel like I have improved a variety of skills, including my communication, both written & verbally, organisation and prioritisation. • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my employer which I am super grateful for. They are always happy to help, both with my role and qualification. I have the opportunity to go on training courses both internally and externally which are always really helpful. My colleagues are always welcoming and allow me to shadow them when it comes to learning about the different units within my apprenticeship. This then allows me to complete my assignments with more in depth, first hand knowledge.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My tutor has been really helpful and supportive during the course of my apprenticeship. During every monthly visit, we go through the learning material and I am able to ask questions to ensure I know what is expected of me for my assignment. I am then able to contact my tutor in between visits if I have any questions or concerns.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification has helped me to perform better in my role as it has allowed me to learn more about the different parts of HR. It allows me to sit with different colleagues and learn more about what they do and think about how their role relates to mine. It has expanded my knowledge as I learn more about HR as a whole.
