  • Supporting the sales process from an IT service & support point of view, designing the processes for supporting our clients solutions.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, learnt lots of new practical skills regarding programming, testing, system development and web design. Developed existing knowledge around business processes/theories such as organisational structures and business cases.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the chance to learn new skills, especially the practical skills, and also getting to network with people from a variety of employers/industry types to learn how things are done elsewhere.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Assignment deadlines could be better thought out given that we have full time jobs - there is 3 weeks Easter break coming up where it would be Ideal/easier to take study days to finish these off, yet most of the deadlines are just before Easter. Induction week was a good idea to be in uni for the full week to kickstart. Overall 1st year has been well structured with the units ran alongside each other and the chance to choose your pathway once you have studied a little.

  • I am fairly independent however I know my line manager is extremely supportive if/when i do need anything.

  • Skills coach visits, Programming Study support days.

  • Although not all the works is directly related to your current role, the course does help you to build confidence and pushes you to look at problems from alternative points of view

  • Yes - charity events, volunteering days, lots of networking/support groups, training courses, competitions/awards/recognition
