  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are many extra-curricular activities that you can get involved in as an apprentice. In our first few weeks we went to Glan Llyn as a team bonding week. This helped us to get to know our year group better. There is also an opportunity to complete the Duke of Edinburgh award.

  • 9a. Would you recommend GE Aerospace to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend GE Aviation to a friend as it is a great apprenticeship to do which comes along with many other opportunities. It is a very good place to work with a good reputation. Following the apprenticeship there is a good chance to develop throughout the company and move to different departments.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to GE Aerospace?
  • To anybody applying for an apprenticeship i would recommend to try your best through the application process and be confident. When completing the assessments you should be prepared and be as confident as possible. When applying and during the recruitment process i would have liked to be told the timescale in which the whole process would have taken.
