  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a Project Control officer and currently work with the Project Management Office team. Daily tasks involve reporting, general admin and meeting facilitation. I interact with both internal colleagues and customer staff. I'm also a project co-ordinator for a project and this involves me managing changes and assisting the project manager with any tasks.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Since my time here, I have learnt many skills and also developed those I already had. Ideally, I would like to engage in more internal training courses in order to develop and progress further. I am working towards my NVQ qualification and so this has also helped me in developing and learning new skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thorougly enjoy my programme as I have faced many challenges which I have been able to overcome and I have learned a lot through my experiences. However, there are parts of the scheme which i feel could be improved and therefore I do not feel that I am enjoying it as much as I could, solely because I feel that I should be beneffiting more. Having said this, these feelings often motivate me to improve the scheme and therefore I enjoy this challenge.

  • 9. Would you recommend Fujitsu to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I have not regretted joining for a minute and therefore would recommend this to anyone.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fujitsu?
  • Give it your best and never give up. Be yourself throught the application process and if you're chosen it's because you're a good match. If you dont, then it probably wasn't the job for you; by trying too hard you may end up finding yourself hating the job.
