  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Providing fibre circuit point to point for businesses including node work, internal cable runs, and exchange work. • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well organised. Start with an induction in one place with various other new starts. Which includes welcoming you to the business, getting clothing so prepared to start, getting your van and kitted out with iPhone and laptop etc. This means I am ready to start as soon as induction is complete

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We have a classroom session every month where we can compete our svq stuff we are required to complete to complete our apprenticeship. The trainers are extremely helpful with any questions or issues that I have when completing. They are also polite and respond on phone and email if I am completing work outside working hours

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It gives you an inside on stuff about the whole business and not just being an engineer. It gives you an idea of what else is out there and gives you additional skills that you do not use so much on a daily basis like the computer/email skills provided in the course
