  • My company are very good to work for. They offer the right amount of support and training as well as giving the opportunity to challenge and work alone.

  • Vinci are good at organising the right training - mandatory and additional. I have 1:1 meetings to review my performance at work. They offer study days during exam times.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider is South Bank University - the support system from them is terrible. They are unorganised, the facilities are poor, the lecturers are poor and the communication methods are also below standard. They provide no guidance when dealing with problems and also make is difficult to even ask for help and support during lectures.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It does not help at all. Nothing that I have been taught over the past 4 years has helped contribute to my role at work. The measurement module is so outdated it does not even support how we measure and take off at work. It is well below what I would have expected.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are work socials which are provided by the employer, to engage the work force and help team build. They also put on workshops and activities for the apprentices, so that we have a platform to discuss and share hints and tips and get to know our colleagues better.
