I highly enjoy this programme as it allows me to find new ways to expand my customer service knowledge and new ways to approach situations and gain a larger knowledge and appreciation for the working world or retail! I hope to keep gaining new skills as I go along with the apprenticeship
4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
The programme is very well structured and organised! At t start it was a bit all of the place but once communication was established it was much easier, the programme is divided into monthly segments with new learning courses and progress is reviewed monthly as well. The end of the apprenticeship is clear and well structured and we know what is expected
5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
I receive a very large and appreciated amount of support from my employer! My line manager always finds time and creates shifts that revolve around my appointments with my personal trainer! I believe my qualification will help me see my role in a much larger light and how much of the bigger picture my role contributes to in my workplace, it will allow me to perform at my very best and create more opportunities for progression in my job role too!
8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
There are opportunities for extra curricular activities and social events! Our store normally holds a Christmas get together or even a day for staff to get together and socialise and enjoy each other’s company without the stress of work getting in the way! We are all very social with each other.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Co-op?
My advice would be to always be yourself and confide in your colleagues when you ha be trouble, they’ll always be happy to help and the resources available to you are amazing and can help you get back on track! The customers are fantastic and it feels like we are part of the community in whatever coop we are in
