  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My day to day role is to take calls and service customers accounts. Deal with payments, complaints, online quries etc. as part of the apprenticeship programme I am required to fill out workbooks and complete observations with my coach as well as sit down meetings with my line manager on a monthly basis.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt how to become more confident as I put myself forward for other manager tasks. Taking group huddles, supporting colleagues. I have learnt how to improve my literacy numeracy and problem solving skills. I am able to develop these skills through the tasks that are set by my coach.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy getting a deeper knowledge of my job and role. digging deeper to help improve my work abilities. I am happy with the coahc i am with as they help make my time trainning the best time it can be when the apprenteship can be a bit bored and distant.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • our coach is very good at structure and keeping the prograame streamlined. the course is setout in such a way that it is structred on a monthly basis for us to learn the best way possible way wihtout overloading usa with work. i always find that it is well spaced out for me to work well.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • my line manager is always avaliable to help. plus all the other managers are always on hand to help. our organistaion gives us extra time to qork on our course which is a big help! they are always accomodating to any requests i have and try to make my time the bets it can be.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • they set aside time to meet with us and be avalkiable o email more or less 24/7 they are always on hand to provide whatever i require and will go the lengths and breaths to support me so that i can succeed, as they understand that this is an extra peice of work.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • as it provides me with a wider knowledge, and better skills to progress. I learn loads of skills to help improve my work life. it gives me extra skills and helkps to strengthen any existing knowledge that existed so that i can become really hgood at my role at work.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • yeah, our work hold many different activities that we can choose to get involved in. our work is very team based. they provide fun activies, games, tema time, support services and many other events so that as a team we can be successful and we all can enjoy our time at work.

  • Yes

  • This is a company that looks after their employees as well as their customers. this company do all they can do within reason to help you become as successful as possible. they are a big stable company that will be with you at work and in your home life to help you prosper.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
  • Be yourself. this company is real and not fake. they will give you th benefit of doubt but dont foll with them. they are serious and want you to act in the sma eway. the job is not as easy as it sounds but they are always there to support where needed!
