  • I am truly thankful of being *paid* to acquire the knowledge and skills

    9/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • In terms of giving me the basics of the job - as opposed to the real-world realities (which will come in due course) - the training programme has been great so far.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Lots. I truly cannot complain.

    9/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The trainers seem to want us to ‘pass’ and move foreard, and so their attitude is a collaborative one.

    5/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend BT to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • The company ethos seems to be that they want me/us to be successful *and* happy. I have a distinct impression that they recognise that a decent work-life balance is important. This was evident during the interview process

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT?
  • Nothing that one wouldn’t do with any other application: investigate the plethora of jobs available [on the BT website], research the requirements, gain an understanding (or qualification) and be yourself when in interview. The difference is, though, the feeling that you have when talking to the interviewer.
