  • 1. Provide personal care to patients 2. I monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight 3. I support patients with activities of daily living 4. I work with senior staff to provide good quality care to the patients 5. I accurately record all findings about my patients 6. I promote dignity and privacy to my patients daily

  • I have developed my clinical skills e.g. taking and recording vital signs, performing an ECG etc

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • This programme is a new and exciting role within the healthcare workforce. I enjoy the fact that I get to look after my patients in a more advanced way and be responsible for ensuring that my patients are well looked after holistically.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It started a bit rocky as with anything you do however I have found my pace and structure. The educational institution has been very supportive and organised to a certain extent.

  • I recieve a lot of support from my employer and always have people in place that I can speak to regarding any concerns that I may have about the programme.

  • I recieve enough support weekly

  • Learning the theory aspect of my new role and applying it in practice has definitely been great as it has helped me perform better and gain more confidence each day in practice

  • Every company has its ups and downs however the benefits outweighs the flaws.
