general maintenance on production line, carrying out repairs, implementing improvements and energy savings

learnt how to carry out engineering task i.e welding, electrical, PLC, turning/Milling

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed my programme I thought it was challenging and pushed myself

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

it was fairly well structured. I felt at the start of the apprenticeship it was a little unstructured however after a couple of months it settled down and a training plan was introduced

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received decent support. my employer provided all text books for college and electrical test i.e 17th edition

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

ok support during college hours, however out of college hours contact was limited

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel my qualification is perfect for my role as it covers pretty much all the tasks which I am required to carry out

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

we have a shift 5 a side tournament, we also have team days out occasionally

Yes

it is a good job with a decent salary and the benefits scheme is very good

make sure you know what the role at Britvic involves as it may not be to your liking when you finish the apprenticehip
