  • BIM & Revit Technician. Drawing and creating 3D models. Model Managing.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Always learning new skills. This week alone I have been doing a session on PV panel calculations, Earthing Systems, Rainwater routing ect

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Apprenticeships are the way forward. However LSBU is brillant or shocking dependant on the lecture at the time. I think the level of work and pressure doing a degree while working is underestimated by employeers.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Generally the whole course is well organised. Issues are the odd lecturer that is poorly prepared and the whole OneFile System has been ignored and I havent noticed any structure there at all.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Very well supported by employer with enginnering questions. Sometimes they underestimate the time commitment the apprenticeship is.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • LSBU deliver a course that is successfully leading me towoard the Bhons goal. Im not sure about how LSBU are going to help me in completing the apprenticeship because we havent discussed the OneFile Issue.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Work and University Life do marry up quite well.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are a huge amount of Extra Curricular Activities at work. I dont get involved with any of them however due to home life commitments.

  • Yes

  • If you are planning on Joining ARUP your going to need to accept that you are going to have to work hard.
