  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The training through University is massively overshadowed by on the job training. Generally the university training is irrelevant or a lower level than we do at work. This would make sense for full time students that have never done the job and are preparing for it. But for us (who have been doing the job for 4-5 years) we are still being taught basic principles even near the end of the degree. On the plus side this makes the degree easy.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • The company and the working atmosphere is great. I have already recommended people before.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Gardiner and Theobald?
  • Firstly, you will learn more on the job than in your course. Second, be prepared to spend a significant amount of time outside of work doing your training. Third, The training providers are often not very well equipped to support students. Finally, the pay off is excellent.
