  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are many different things to get involved in, in the workplace during the year that are suitable for many different people. • 9a. Would you recommend Newcastle Building Society to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • As a first job, coming straight from sixth form, the society has been very welcoming and accepting on the situation, helping me learn at my own pace. I would recommend this to others as the society provides anything needed to start the role and provides lot's of support to all staff.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Newcastle Building Society?
  • I would ensure that they ask enough questions about the role and know what they are applying for at the time. There are lot's of opportunities to move around the business if the role isn't right but it would be much more efficient if the first role is suitable to what they want.
