My role is a Service Support Adviser and i contact learners at the start, middle and end of their programme to ensure they are happy on the course. I will speak to learners and employers to gain their satisfaction on the course so far and can escalate concerns/ issues should any occur.
Since starting with Babington i have learnt alot of new skills, knowledge and behaviours. I have previously done BA L2 and progressed onto this course. I feel that i have become much better within my role and feel i now have the knowledge to support others when they require advise or support.
I really enjoy the programme that i am currently studying and find that it is really helping me in my job role. I have developed and helped others to develop through my apprenticeship. I have learnt new things that i through i already new and it has helped me to become more confident with the tasks that are being set.
The structure of my programme has change while on the course but this didnt affect my learning as was given the support and guidance from my trainer. I feel that the new delivery model has helped me and other learners who are doing this course as it gives more detail and structure to the course.
My line manager has been very supportive of me on my qualification and we have weekly catch-ups about my progression on my programme and the support i require. My line manager has really helped me toward my project and has gone out of her way to make sure i get enough time to do the OTJ including shadowing other teams/departments.
My trainer was always able to support me with any questions that i had. She was in regular contact with me and i knew that i could email/call her at any point and she would get back to me within a matter of hours. I had/have calls with the Service Support team about my progression and i have been given multiple opportunities to provide feedback
I have been able to develop new skills and knowledge while undertaking the course. I have been able to put the new skills into practice and my manager has mentioned how she thinks this course is having a positive impact. It has made me more confident within my role as i have been pushed out of my comfort zone at certain points of the course.
The company that i work for are very supportive and encourage team working activities. We have previously gone to YMCA and cooked a meal for others that need a warm meal. We have had team meals and even been out to mini golf (payed for by Babington). As a business i think Babington are great!
Yes
I think that Babington are a great provided to work for. I started here as an apprentice and developed into a full time job. With the support of Babington and my line manager i have gained lots of knowledge around the sector and been able to support others including other apprentices. I feel that Babington really opened a door for me and has made me the person i am today
I would say that if you apply with Babington they will support you and give you the tools/knowledge to be able to do your day to day role. They will encourage active learning and give you training should you require it and encourage team work/ communication. Babington feels like a family as everyone is very supportive and always helps each other.
