  • Working in a DevOps team, testing various products and working with customers to achieve what they want. University degree in software engineering.

  • Really good scheme that has such a wide variety of new skills to be learnt, I really am part of the team as well and not just an apprentice.

  • Structured via course content in modules at uni.

  • Lots of support is available as you are constantly surrounded by those who are very knowledgeable in specific areas.

  • Helps to learn some of the background and basics to the work carried out in the office.

  • Yes the apprentice community organise plenty of events as well as school visits and other volunteering activities.

  • Yes

  • Really great scheme where you learn a lot and get a full degree.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT?
  • When applying be yourself and show you are interested, they are not expecting you to know anything before you start. When in the apprenticeship make sure you take every opportunity you get as this will help you progress.
