parts apprentice Review

My main role is the running of the workshop in the parts department, which entails identifying parts on vehicles in the workshop and supplying any parts. One of my responsibilities is to send back and control the old units coming back from customers/workshop to get our monies back from PACCAR in a timely and efficient manner. I also carry out various stock checks in the workshop to ensure we do not run out of material which could slow down the workshop operation.

During my time as an apprentice parts advisor my product knowledge has increase due to my close relationship with the workshop. I am becoming more confident on a daily basis with my self and my job. My communication skills have increased within different dealership departments.

During my time in the program i have enjoyed every task and challenge given to me.

my program is well structured and organised. my skills coach is always on time and never late.

i feel that the support i receive from my employer is outstanding. Steve helps me with anything weather its work related or a personal problem.

The support i receive from my skills coach is outstanding. If i have any problems with my booklets Vikki helps me understand the questions better so it can be completed
