Supervisor to staff delivering activities to high needs service user's involving Coordinating, mentoring, delivering, outstanding levels of services to service users and associated staff. This involves planning day to day creating weekly programmes and incorporating cultural, spiritual, objectives, local communities and social engagements whilst promoting well being and working with multi disciplinary teams to enrich peoples lives.
Having just completed my HSC level 5 I have built upon my healthcare experience as a former team leader care worker and activities Supervisor able to combine this experience to maximize the impact that I can have towards enriching some one else's life.
I am able to be creative and develop my skills further. I have the full support of my peers seniors and executives. I am and feel confident and privileged to be successful and surrounded by good people. The challenge was there but so was the reward and I absolutely enjoyed each challenge and the feeling of empowerment at each step upon completion of each question.
My programmes are well structured and organized which includes having a plan b incase my service users wish to do something totally different. I consult with my end users and allow them to shape the day. My programmes are also information gatherers which help me gather live feedback quickly which enables me to adapt quickly to overcome any problems.
My employer is fully supportive of me. They hear me and they listen and they do their best to fully engage and understand they are sometimes a strange bunch but absolutely amazing and fully supportive which is why we achieved outstanding for our service users.
Encouraged, Inspired, well led, cheerful, real, support has been amazing and through it all has been a beacon of light which has shone brightly and guided me to a qube learning experience of success and elation.
My performance is so much more in my role. As much as being able to have the confidence to stand up when all others may crumble, I can stand up and deliver a qualified statement which encourages people to listen and later act upon. Where as before the cultural differences would have done everything in their power to maintain the old ways which evidently did not achieve the outstanding levels that I am helping to achieve of late.
There are several networking opportunities through on line professional also social events are offered
