  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • After the initial problems at the start, I am thoroughly enjoying the course. There is a good balance between classroom work and the ability to apply to new skills, knowledge and behaviours in the workplace to develop. Its great being in a group too to share ideas.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The first few months felt unorganised, no one really knew what was going on it was very frustrating. After numerous individual attempts to establish the structure and plan, our cohort sent a group email sharing our frustrations and what we expected to continue because everyone had completely different information and it had ended in a bit of a panic. This resulted in some damage control Skype calls to clarify what exactly was going on, which made everyone finally feel at ease. Unfortunately after a few months our there was a handover in coaches, which also resulted in us finding out a whole heap of new things we were supposed to be doing as part of the work experience side. Incredibly frustrating as were now 8 months in, but luckily as its a 2 year course we still have time. Would have just liked complete clarity at the beginning.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • On a personal level my employer and line manager have been great. I get my study time allocated every fortnight. I feel I can talk to anyone about the course material and how I can apply it within the workplace. Senior management have an active interest in the courses, regularly asking how its going.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • From my tutor from the assignments - as much as I need. Very pleased. New coach started a few weeks ago and so far so good, but unable to comment much more than that so far.
