My role is workin on the M&S account at Fujitsu on the second line support team. We work to maintain all tills in M&S stores are up to date and trading illegally. We also support other software for M&S such as there touch screen ordering points, self service tills and their ipads.
I have learnt some new skills working on the second line team. I now understand how IT and software is used in retail. I have also learnt how tills are kept up to date on a regular basis and how a till actually works. I am also doing college work with Telfoed college which will expand my knowledge.
I do really enjoy the programme that I am do. I work in a small team where everyone gets along with each other so that it makes it fun to come in to work everyday. The works I do on a daily basis varies from day to day and gives me different task to complete so it dont get boring and I learn new things through it.
I feel valued by Fujitsu. My manager takes time to make sure I am getting the right training and that people n the team know what I am doing and how they can help me. I also complete on of the big reports on a daily basis so this makes me feel valued that I have been given the responsibilty to take on the duty.
My programme is very organised and structured on Fujitsus behalf as they are giing me the right training and tool to complete the tasks. But my college work with Telford college isnt very organised at all. I have been with the company 3 monts and the college have only been in contact twice and they havent even started giving me college work.
I recive a lot of support from the people within my team ans they have given me the training and tools to complete tasks daily and they are helping me expand my knowledge so that I can work on more tasks. But Telford college have given me no support as yet and havent even started giving me college work.
I receive a lot of support from my manager making sure that I am ok and he has given me the training and made me feel part of the team staright away. I also have a work buddy which helps me with tasks and aids my learning.
My salery package meets my costs very well. I feel that for my age I am on a very good salery and it meets all my costs.
