  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Network Q Operations- on a daily basis i do various different tasks, this is not the same every week as it's a fast paced department. It's always interesting as we have a small team but still have to do tasks that the new car operation carries out. This includes marketing (digital and point of sale), Customer care, as well as a project to build a reporting tool. Big responsibilities which is good as feel valued

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The job role and working environment is great however college somewhat lets it down. The team i work with at Vauxhall is great, everyone is supportive and we all work together collaboratively which is great. I enjoy it.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme has previously been a bit of a faded line in terms of development, we weren't told the length initially however over recent weeks there have been meetings to resolve these uncertainties. I feel this has had a positive impact on apprentice morale and if the things discussed regarding the programme are implemented i feel that it will have a great structure.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • The support from our training provider is not the best at times, teachers are sometimes available over emails however it feels as if they are quite hard to get hold of. It sometimes feels as if we are in college to just gain our qualifications and not learn much theory, however it's getting me the required qualifications to progress and i'm lucky to have a role where i can apply some of the things we cover in class to an actual working environment.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • There is an increasing amount of support from the HR team over recent weeks which has been a great feeling, as it feels like they are suiting the apprenticeship more to the individual and their needs rather than the whole group, which is a good situation as everyone has their own specific competencies. There are always people to approach if there are any issues.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I think the salary is adequate at the moment, it wouldn't cover moving out of home which is something that I would like to do if i could. I do find myself quite short at the end of the month sometimes.

    4/10

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are opportunities for activities outside of work.

    8/10

  • 9. Would you recommend Stellantis to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Great company to work for, especially if you want to get into the motor industry. Good working environment and increased support from HR which is a good feeling. Only concerns are with learning provider however Vauxhall are aware and are actively trying to tackle the situation.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Stellantis?
  • Complete a professional CV, if you get through to the interview stage dress formally and be confident and collaborative with others.
