  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role includes talking to customers frequently, which is mostly made up from cold calling and emailing. I cold call for a lot of the day trying to bring in new business, and also keeping in regular contact with my existing customers to continue building relationships. Softcat are always able to support me on my day to day life, and there is always someone that can help if ever I am unsure of what to do.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I find the Apprenticeship program to be incredibly well structured, as I am always well aware of when I have my training and who I need to go to if I ever need any help. Remit are always supporting us in sessions and have payed out a clear plan of when our coursework needs to be completed.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Softcat to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend Softcat to any of my friends as I think it has such a unique culture, where anyone can fit in. Also, it is a very sociable work place with a lot of time for progression, so you are able to work your way up and achieve your goals

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Softcat?
  • I would say to them that they are joining a great company, but they must make sure to not get caught up in all the party’s and remain working hard whilst having fun at the same time. If they keep an open mind and also work hard there is a lot of room for success.
