  • To work in Aldi is really a great experience and I really quite enjoy my work in here, I get quite a lot useful skills and learn how to contact with our intended customer and how to build up a stronger, unite team. These really improve a quite a lot.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learned many useful skill like before I start work in here I can not clearly demonstrate my speaking skill but after I learned from our team leader I was praised by my improvement. I also develop my time managing skill because we all need to work more efficiently.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I quite enjoy my programme in here because all of my workmates are quite friendly and we make friends each other, we often organise many interesting events like exchange our gift and have a picnic at the park during the summer. We all quite enjoy from these kinds of happy activities

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is well organised but I believe it still need to improve in some cases, as at the beginning I am not quite understand my role and my teammates who are fresher also seems a bit confused but after then we finally back on right track and working well.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I get quite a lot useful support from my employer, like they help me to teach quite a lot knowledge which I had never recognised it is a problem, such as focus all details to make things goes well and consider our intended customers' feeling and their emotion in accurate.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider is really kind and teach me quite a lot for my work required, it include how to successfully attract customer's eyes by arrange product in a right place and also how to improve customer's emotion to help them buy more products by set suitable background music and advertisements.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think they really help me quite a lot and I learned how to improve my behaviour by many cases. I really enjoy this unforgettable experience because I learned many useful skills like how to set out problems in specific case and how to give a good impression for customers.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, we organise many excited events like fitness class and gym membership with better offer, we also receive our eye test voucher which can help us to maintain our health. Sometimes our team leader will invite us for free pizza in our office with many drinks, quite enjoy for these events.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because this is really good experience to work in here and find good friends. you can also get quite a lot useful skills in Aldi. Even if you leave for this work you can also easily find the cheapest product by your previous training and save more money for other places.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aldi?
  • You would expect to demonstrate your social networking skills to make sure you will be chose bacause as a sales assistant you need to show that you are really good at shaping your personal style and ensure customers feel you are friendly and really helpful, also you need to fully demonstrate yourself.
