  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programe and believe that this is because there is never a boring day and there is always something to do. I also enjoy the team that I work around as they are all very supportive to eachother and help each other throughout the day. I enjoy the work/ tasks that I complete during the day.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I belive that my programe is resonably well structured. I have DAF courses to help me work towards being a service advisor trained to DAF standard. this helps me speak to customers and fleet companies as it helps me to understand the meichanical side of the industry. However the Skill Net part of my programe is not well structured as it is a Business Admin course and alot of the tasks do not relate to my job roll, such as stock controll?

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I do recive a small ammout from support from my employer however I have found myself trying to cram work in at home because not enough time has been given to me during work hours as it is such a busy environment. Tthe support on my day-to-day job sis second to non. And I coulnt ask for a more supportive Service Mnager.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training providor gives me a 'good' level of support as I see him once every month. He gives me tasks to complete for next time and give me recources to help progress with my corse work. He explained the systems to me and was always avalible if I had any quires about any of the work.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I do not belive that the qualification has given me much to ake into my job roll as I do not believe that it is taylored enough to my job roll. The only thing I belive I could take over from my trainig providor is the way I manage my time and how I can maximise the use of my time.

When apprentices go to the Layland DAF site they also have a social meal before the visit usuallly the night before so that they can get to know eachother.
