for the role i perform i feel as though a more specified qualification would be suited rather than just a higher level generic engineering qualification

Siemens is a large company that focuses on the "smaller" people in the organisation meaning that you will always have someone their to ask for help or support should it be needed and you will never feel left out or forgotten.
