  • Assisted in the pre-forming materials, and carried out manufacturing products in building and wiring team. Executed testing and simulation tasks in the engineering and test gear department.

  • Using a control panel to collect the material required for PCBs. Soldering skills for building and wiring as well as repair. Different testing required for testing multimeters. Methods to store the material in the warehouse.

  • Got a chance to observe and participate in almost all different departments. all the staffs are friendly and passionate about their jobs.

  • 4. How well organised was your work experience?
  • Received the weekly agenda about two weeks in advance. The arrangement of activities started in the order of production cycle, step by step. So the specific activities of each department will be easier to understand. Everyone in the company knows the basic routine.

  • 5. How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?
  • A lot of employees have been worked more than 10 years here and people from different departments also get along very well with each other. Employees are enthusiastic about their daily work and proud of their products. It would be very honoured and happy to work here.

  • 6. How much did your work experience help you in deciding on your future career path?
  • By carrying out activities in the various department helped me decide which type of engineering related work I want to go for. By observing the software and hardware engineering daily work routines also supported me which one suits me more.

  • There are no work wages, however, there is a lunch fee of 3.50 Monday to Thursday provided. And Friday only works until 13.00.

  • 8. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?
  • Since we got work with individual employees during the work experience. They would share their experience with us. We also got a chance to talk with the current interns and part-times to know what they do and how they found the work.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Friendly working environment. Inspiring and organised management. Keep improving the working system. High technics and self-designed test equipment.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Megger?
  • Feel more confident. Practise more daily engineering related activities to enhance your skills covering every aspect. Get more project and design to show your abilities and technics.
