1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Each day is different. I work on a number of projects so daily tasks are always changing. Ranging from managment talent programmes and reward management.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt so much within my year doing an apprenticeship. There is opportunity to attend workshops on presentation skills. There is also regular Early Career workshop which brings all interns and apprentices together to attend workshops and get involved in a year long business project.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I love my programme. I have learnt a great amount about HR and the opportunities HPE have given me to develop are really good.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is really well structured, I have college lessons but also specific HPE content which allows me to map against what I am learning on my course.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have lots of support. Weekly 1-1's with my manager. I also have an assigned mentor and buddy.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I could receive more support here, I have rarely spoken to my skills coach.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The CIPD element of the course is great and the teachers are really good. However, guidance on Workplace project and EPA is limited.

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes. There is volunteering, charity games, early career socials and networking events.
