  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • There was confusion to the start date. We had to sort out payment for exams and course materials ie books. I don’t feel we are given enough time to study. The CIMA qualification is very difficult and well advanced for me as I am only level 2 AAT qualified. We have been given a year to complete the course with exams every 7 weeks!

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • My tutor is amazing and love her teaching styles. But i feel its very rushed and no time to practice and understand what we have just be taught. I have spoken of my concerns about the course but yet to hear anything.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My manager said he will support me fully. HR have yet to get back to me and it’s been over 2 weeks now. The CIMA course is at level 4 and I am only level 2 so I feel I am struggling to understand what is being taught.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My wages just cover my rent and bills. As I have a son im struggling to keep up with his nursery payments. Traveling to college every week is costing me £10 which is not covered even though its work and during work hours. I now bring my own food as the cost of going to the canteen was costing around £5 a day. The location is ok which is a bonus.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Its a great company with loads of benefits but make sure you get into the right apprenticeship and an area you will enjoy.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Stellantis?
  • Do your research before you apply. Dress smart and presentable. Be confident. Sell yourself. I would of liked to be told about the cima qualification first and hat to expect. This is a new Apprenticeship with Vauxhall so not sure they knew how hard it would be.
