My role consists of serving people on the till making sure they have got all of the products that they need also offer sas on the tills to get that extra sale. On the shop floor I face and do draws bring down stock do the household cuboard and make sure the shop looks neat and tidy for the next day
When I first started I had no customer or retail experience as this was my first job so everything that I have learnt has been through my apprenticeship. I have become a lot more comfortable with my job role now that I have been doing it for just under a year
I enjoy my programme as I am being trained in my job and I am learning new things everyday.
My programme is very well organised we go through all the modules and stuff and link it to what I do on the shop floor
I receive a lot of support from my employer they are the ones who have trained me on everything I do and continue to help me through stuff I am not 100% on
I receive a lot of support any questions I am unsure on he will talk me through them and help me understand the questions
A lot because of my training provider wasn’t very well trained I wouldn’t be sure on how to do certain jobs properly where as if they were trained well they are able to tell me how they do it and give me abit more training if I need it
We have team meetings to help
Yes
Because they have helped me get the customer service I need to get into any other jobs
Make sure you are committed to your job
