my day to day involves fabing and welding beams reading drawings using cranes and other types of lifting equipment. Gas cutting using the welding plants grinding.
yes I have learnt how to read fabrication drawings and also learned how to weld to a high standard gas cut and use cranes and stuff
i don't mind coming to work because you need to earn money
the college has been a joke from day one from the college lacking teachers to not been able to provide with the right teachers who can help with NVQ and stuff like that
some people are very helpful and will help you if needed but others are a bit more you should be doing it on your own or in your spare time at home
the college side of things like the course we do at college was alright because they will help as your there for the day but the NVQ side of things has been a joke
some of the stuff I have learned over the four years going to college has been point less as I would never use half the stuff they have told us again and feel like we should of been put on a course more suitable for my job
yes there is many things my company do to get everyone involved
Yes
yes and no yes because the job and the skills you learn are there for life and could go anywhere with them. no because the course hasn't been the best maybe if they look more into the course they could plan a better one out for the next lot who come through the door
not sure.
