My work experience was good and it involved being behind the scenes and gaining a good understanding of how the company works, I learnt how the BBC broadcast their shows and how the camera people film, I enjoyed my time and I questioned them a lot to learn a lot

From my short time with the BBC that spent there I learnt how things work and got a good amount of knowledge from my time. I learnt how to posture yourself correctly when on camera and I also picked up skills on using the computers and editing and cutting clips

I enjoyed my work experience a lot. I got a good and fair amount of knowledge gained and I really enjoyed being in such a big building with so much going on and it was really an eye opener to how much effort is put into each stage of producing the programmes

My work experience time was well organised and it was structured we as I was given different tasks on each of the days and paired up with someone different on each day to see how each part of the company was run and how different people worked on each task

I learnt that it is a fast paced but fun place to work, there is a good amount of work to do and a good relationship between all the staff that you see working there. What else I learned is that there was such a diversity in the staff and was enjoyable

It has helped me decide that I do want to work for a big organisation like the BBC I enjoyed how well the company run and was surprised with all the effort put in. The staff really enjoy what they do and they all seem happy to be at work

I was not paid as all the work I participated in was voluntary, i knew this before I started as I just wanted to gain the experience although I did enjoy it i think that it would or could have been better if the expenses were reimbursed or their was some sort of pay

There was definitely an opportunity to meet other employees and loads of time to talk and ask them loads of questions which I wrote notes on which I thought was excellent I felt that everyone was friendly and I was given a tour on the first day of the whole building

I believe that it is genuinely a healthy and good place to work. They care about their staffs mental health as well as their personal and work life balance. I enjoyed every moment and will definitely be applying once I have finished my A levels. I learnt a lot and it was exciting

I think the best tips I would suggest would be to get the best results in your exams as possible. Apply as soon as the deadlines open and try your best to be professional. The company offer a range of schemes including apprenticeships however so many applicants apply you need to do something to stand out of the crowd
