1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves the audit of Asset Management Clients. Mainly auditing their financial statements.

This will include auditing the assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and equity balances of the client. As all clients are unique in their own way, it always brings good challenges as we always have to better our understanding.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have learnt many new skills from my practical experience, for example the many different revenue streams that vary from client to client and how clients capitalise their assets or even their expenses. I have learnt in a practical way, what evidence to look out for and how to be sceptical.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I absolutely love my programme as it is has been a very valuable learning experience for me since the day I started as I am always given the opportunity to try something new or gain a new type of experience. I was fortunate to also try out different departments within my firm.
