  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • This changes every day as not every day is the same. As i am currently in tax, this could be anything from liaising with clients to completing tax computations. theres is a lot of work with excel and other Microsoft tools. Its hard work but to be honest i enjoy it.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme a lot as it gives me a salary and qualifications related to my career plans whilst giving me study support. There are some inefficiencies in regards to the training provider policies while studying however the actual day to day aspect of the programme is pretty good.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is very well organised and structured as its a 5/6 year programmed with points where you can drop off the programme and go into a full time role in the firm. Only a small issue but one thing i would point out is the training provider could be a lot better and the training policies in place as sometimes there is no logic behind some of the decisions made.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualifications that we do are directly related to all of the job roles that i have been in during my time at the firm. They have all helped me to understand a lot of the context of my day job. for example studying about business tax whilst in the corporation tax team helped my performance as i understood things better.
