  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role depends on where i am based on my rotation plan, for example if i am in quality audit my role within there may be to carry out the daily checks on machined parts or complete wash solution strengths checks. However if i was in special products then my role would include machining on the milling machines and lathes.

  • Within my apprenticeship so far i have learnt a lot of new skills for example i am able to operate milling machines and lathes. • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My program within my company is well structured and there is always support there were needed, which is one of my favorite things about the company. However, although my company's program is fantastic, the program for our college days at Kirklees college isnt that great. I feel as if they are massively unorganized and don't offer that much support.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • From my employer i receive alot of support, there is reviews every 6 weeks and we also have small discussions every week or 2 just to see if there is or has been any concerns. They are great at giving guidance if something has gone wrong and their attitude towards supporting us is fantastic and is really welcoming.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I feel as though not a lot of support is given from our training provider both within the lesson and outside of the lesson. If there is a problem i tend to keep it to myself or speak to my company. The attitude is not really that good and the days in which i go to my training provider arent my favorite days.
