  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • as i am one of the first apprentices in the IT department i would have thought it was going to be a little more structured, never the less they picked it up and i feel like it is now really structured, the order in which teams i will visit in the future is yet to be decided as it will need to coincide with my apprenticeship.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • like i said previously, my boss is the best. likewise her boss is also amazing, i am very lucky to have employers that treat me the way they do. i get treated not as a young apprentice but as a colleague. i am treated with just as much respect, they both try and support me in every opportunity i have.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • so currently i haven't technically started my apprenticeship, it starts on Friday. i have had many back and forth communications with my training provider, as has my boss. we are all aware on who i will have as a mentor and if i have any problems i can speak to him.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • by having a qualification in anything to do with your role already makes you a valuable asset. especially if you have passed the qualifications with a high pass rate. it proves to other workers that you do know what you're talking about seeing as you have taken a test in the particular subject.

  • 9a. Would you recommend WTW to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • i love my job, its a bonus that i am getting a qualification out of it, i have had so many opportunities whilst being here, on my second day i met the CIO of the company! the people are all lovely, easy to get long with, opportunities to work in various other places (140+ countries) and travel.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to WTW?
  • i would say be patient with the replies, they are not the quickest, which might lead you to assume that you do not have the job. be completely honest, try to be/look confident when presenting information, prepare for questions. try to read about the company current affairs and history.
