  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role as an apprentice means carrying out the same duties as a store assistant, however I am given training regularly to ensure that I am constantly improving my level of work. Each day contains different work to be done, for example I may be on the till one day and working on the shop floor the next

  • 9a. Would you recommend Aldi to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I believe that working at Aldi as an apprentice can give you the necessary experience required to further yourself in the retail business and give you the best opportunity to progress yourself and reach new positions that can put you into management levels within various organisations, not just ALDI itself

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aldi?
  • I would say that you should be prepared to work hard and be committed to the job, not only in work but also the work that has to be completed to achieve your award at the end of your programme. You should also be able to time yourself and the work you are doing to ensure that you can hit the targets required by ALDI, however this can be improved on whilst doing the job
