  • Taking inspiration from the amount of experience I have been given and exposure to relevant and cutting edge technologies in the relatively short amount of time that I have been on the scheme combined with the undergraduate training that I have received from the University of Winchester and the friends I have made, I would say I have enjoyed every minute of it.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • From the companies perspective, it has been incredible, from the day I started till now there has been a clear line of reasoning to each task that I have been assigned and the induction process to both CGI and the University were well planned and well delivered, so I'd express that it has been well structured.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer provides as much support as is needed on an individual basis, so if I was inclined to require a large amount of personal support, it is available to me, on hand. The day you join you are assigned a mentor for university studies and a buddy who is around the same age to support you in other ways. My project also assigned me a project-specific mentor to support me in my day to day work.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The University of Winchester supplies ample support for its students and this is no exception with regards to professional studies like myself, they have a well-ingrained student support system built into the workflow of the school and are willing to help if needed. The communication between work and school is well thought out as well as we have a module leader that is in frequent contact with our employers.

  • I would recommend being honest about the skill level you have and the skill level that you would like to achieve within the near future.
