  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Aston university provide a lot of support online. Sometimes it can be a bit more difficult to understand some concepts through distance learning and balancing with work, but the lecturers are always happy to answer any questions and support on any issues you may face. Support is really easy to get through emailing lecturers or through the blackboard system.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Capgemini to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Capgemini allow people who may not even have any coding/technical knowledge to get into the industry and start learning from scratch, building valuable skills that are not attainable through the standard university route. You will gain a degree and work experience at the same time, as well as earning a fair salary.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capgemini?
  • Have a look at Capgeminis core values and see if they align with what you believe in. It is just as important that the company matches your believes if you are going to work there. Dont be afraid to apply if you have no experience in tech or consulting, Capgemini seem to base their recruitment on the values others uphold rather than their technical ability at a junior level.
