  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It is a very different programme to everything I have done in my life and past career. Deloitte on a whole is an excellent company however the problems arise when trying to create an apprenticeship programme and getting us to do menial tasks to meet their requirements for extra funding

    4/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • to create an apprenticeship programme we are required to do menial tasks to meet their requirements for extra funding. This aspect brings no value to our work and just adds to the already high levels of stress. The standard programme is good but the apprenticeship additions are not so good

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Everything we do is new in the business so on a day to day basis with the work we do for the business itself and clients we receive a lot of extra support to ensure the output is good. On an apprentice basis, we don't get much support - not good

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We go out to college quite often and regularily have on line training sessions in our first 18 months in training towards our qualifications. As such we naturally get a lot of support to be able to achieve the results required and this comes from Kaplan on the aca and cta side

    7/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification itself - the aca and cta programme are crucial in what we do on a day to day basis in the business itself and are an invaluable tool to be able to refer to later. The apprentiship side is of no benefit what tso ever to us and is useless

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are always social activities to be involved in in work as part of both networking and just being generally social in and outside of the office this includes foot ball net ball and other activity days in an attempt to boost morale. very active in general and very positive

  • 9a. Would you recommend Deloitte to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Deloitte on a whole is an excellent company however the problems arise when trying to create an apprenticeship programme and getting us to do menial tasks to meet their requirements for extra funding. I hope they scrap the apprentice programme as they are such a good employer without it completely

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte?
  • there and no tips that you would need to apply to Deloitte you just need to be competent enough and intelligent enough to pass the initial assesments which everyone must go through and then after this have something different about you to show you would be valuable to the business
