On a day to day basis, I will manage the monthly plan for the engineers within BT. I have to attend calls to discuss the plan with patch managers and area managers. I have to cover other colleagues within my team. I have to enable jobs also on a daily basis.
Within my role, I have developed my confidence in terms of speaking to people I am not familiar with. My public speaking has also improved and I am able to negotiate and discuss topics within work. I have developed my literacy skills due to communication each day in daily work.
I really enjoy my programme a lot. It is challenging yet rewarding and every time I do it, it is different. I find the programme rewarding and find my self always excited to learn more each time that I am here. I am looking forward to continuing to progress in the future.
My programme is very well organised and structured. I always know what is going on and I know where the help is if I require it. I enjoy the structure of my programme as it is very well balanced and has a good sense of value and achievement every day.
I receive constant support within my work. My employer, manager and team always make me feel comfortable when needing to ask for help. I never feel like help is not possible and I can always depend on them in helping me achieve my goals within the work place and beyond.
Again, the support is essential and is what you need to complete these qualifications. That's why I always feel like the support is there from my coach at all times. They explain things very well and like to help. I feel good and look forward to progressing further to.
it helps me within my role as it develops my knowledge about the company that I work for and the required needs and responsibilities required to succeed under the certain brand. I also gain confidence so I am able to go above and beyond within my role to show my passion.
within my work, there are loads of opportunities to go well beyond what you are asked to do. for example there is a range of extra qualifications you can pick up. You can also work with charities to gain recognition and show people you can work out of your own time also
Yes
I would recommend BT to a friend because ever since I have been here I have felt automatically settled and happy and always feel valued and well looked after. It is a massive company and you are always meant to feel like you are a part of the big things to come.
My tips and advice to someone wanting to apply with BT is just to be yourself. Show them what you can do and don't be afraid to challenge something you feel can be improved or can be slightly better. Going in with fresh eyes is the best way to be.
