  • 4. How valued do you feel by Bright Future Software?
  • I feel that Bright Future Software values the talent of apprentices greatly by giving anyone who can program in a given language the change to extend their skills further and help people who don't know much about programming to learn to program.

    9/10

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The structure in the company is good as apposed to the structure of the Level 3 qualification. The Level 3 qualification lacked structure so you couldn't guarantee you would be trained for every part of the course to the extent necessary. However, that said, the training for the programming side of the course was very good and well structured because the trainers are patient and will help.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • Our training provider helps where they can with giving one to ones to ask for support and allowing you to ask a trainer to help and they will find the time to help you where they can and point you in the right direction if they can't.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Our employer tries to help where time constraints allow due to commercial work but most of the time they try to help and are very helpful at other times they try to point you to another member of staff to help.

    7/10

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I walk to work so the £500 salary is sufficient and meets my needs well.

  • N/A

    5/10

  • 9. Would you recommend Bright Future Software to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • The industry we work in is growing all the time and even if you don't want to program, chances are, there will be something in the industry to suit you.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bright Future Software?
  • Even though it isn't required, past experience in programming will help you embed yourself in the company as you can start on projects straight away and won't need as much training.
