  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • In my role it is my job to provide a reasonable outcome to any issues regarding payments on open and closed claims. This requires me to deduce which payments are from an internal business side and which payments are actually from a third party insurer. Then it is my job to close the claim.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I believe that the main skill I have been able to develop due to my apprenticeship is how to fully understand the internal mechanics which can affect the life line of a claim and also how to use extremely small details to affect the greater outcome of all files that I touch.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have enjoyed the program so far. However, there have been a few problems which I believe have caused me to fall needlessly behind such as not receiving my book from the trainer for nigh on three months and also not having a tutor for the same amount of time.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The structure I believe is adequate. However, I believe it would be extremely useful to have slightly more one on one actual tutorship so that the efficiency of the program is less affected by minor issues which can be cleared up extremely quickly. However, other than this I have no issues.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer are extremely good at giving me the time and resources that I require to study and learn my course. Furthermore, they are always available to join in meetings when needed and also provide healthy feedback which gives me the drive that I need to be the best possible.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • As already mentioned in my previous answers there has been a vastly reduced amount of support from the trainer. However, I believe that this is due to unfornunate circumstances and issues and not because Waverley training services are inherently bad at what they do. I believe this will improve in the coming months.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • As previously stated it helps me understand the mechanics of my role and why other colleagues have performed certain actions. It helps my attention to the smallest details which make up the biggest mistakes and it has also helped me learn my role better and perform to much higher standard.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There use to be. However, these no longer exists there use to be football clubs, cooking clubs, competitions for all, walking clubs, movie and film clubs and now what exists is absolutely nothing which would resemble extra curricular activities. I believe that this is a real shame and causes stress to the work place.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Enterprise Mobility to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • They provide an extremely stable workplace and a good source of income with multiple oppurtunities to progress your career and knowledge with additional qualifications and experience. However, I do not believe Enterprise provide a career for all and are a stepping stone towards offices that pay higher and more towards the industry average.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Enterprise Mobility?
  • Do not expect the career of your life, but do expect stability and a very much understanding work space which is inclusive of all and provides un heard of equality across the entire spectrum of the business. Furthermore, do expect to further your self and propel your self to the next level.
