  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • It involves call monitoring which is where you check the ticketing system for any issues that the client has reported with their system and you assign these tickets out to people on your team depending on their role. For example if something in the backend is broken then you would assign it to a DBA.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme because I get to meet lots of new people around my age as well as working with people older than me. Everyone is friendly and willing to help you if you are struggling, they make you feel welcome and if they do not know the answer to a question you have then they will find out from someone else for you

  • 9a. Would you recommend Capgemini to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend Capgemini to a friend because they are an inclusive company with important values and the employees are friendly and welcoming. There is a large community of apprentices which allows me to make friends as they are all around my age group and we have lots in common in terms of our roles here.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capgemini?
  • Be confident and make sure you get involved in the group tasks during the assessment centre, but also encourage others to voice their opinions and take these into consideration. Be patient when waiting to hear about your progress to the next stage of the application process, but send a chaser email if you haven't heard anything for a few weeks to show your interest in the role. Take every opportunity you are given as it will help you to grow and learn in your daily role.
