  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role is within the CRM department of Peugeot, this involves handling customers data and making marketing decisions based upon the conclusions and targeting that customer data can provide us. Day to day my role involves handling budget files, liaising with external agencies in order to manage the work they provide for us.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have greatly improved upon my general IT skills. More specifically i have developed my Xcel skills purely by having to use the programme so much in just day to day tasks i am set by my manager. I have also developed my proof reading skills as i have to proof read customer brochures and other contact methods before they are sent out in order to make sure that they are up to the businesses standards and without error.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I, like most people i would imagine, dont jump out of bed in the morning excited and happy to go to work. That being said once i am in work doing the job i do enjoy myself for the most part. However my biggest issue with the programme and the workplace i am in is the social aspect, or lack of one. There seems to be so little genuine interaction and friendhsip between people in the business and it confuses and worries me slightly as it has never been an issue in any other workplace i have been in.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Being brutally honest it is not particularly well organised or structured mostly due to lack of communication between your manager and assessor. this is something i believe can be worked on and will make the experience a far more enjoyable one. That being said though my assessor always makes sure that i am on the same page as him with the work he has set and what he expects from me. And i know that i can email him with any questions or issues that i might have and he will do his best to get these sorted in a timely manner

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I dont really receive a whole lot from my manager and company, but going back to a previous answer i think this is more due to the fact that there is a lack of communication so they dont always know what stage of the apprenticeship i am at and therefore cant offer the necessary support. However when that communication is in place and they are aware of what stage you are at and what you need to do to progress then my manager was very supportive and made sure that i was going to get the work done on time.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Very little as we are unfortunately not able to use a facility purpose built for training due to some very small and silly rules and policies we are not afforded the opportunity to use these facilities. In terms of personal support then my assessor offers help guidance and support when he makes his visits but i feel like these visits are too few and far between.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I dont really think that my role and the qualification actually overlap all that much. what i do in my day to day tasks and the assignments that are set for me do not really relate to each other and i sometimes find myself at a bit of a loss answering questions because of this.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • As i have said there is a very strange social situation at work, with very very few people socialising with anyone from work outside of office hours. That being said there are a couple of extra curricular meetups for sport that seem to happen. I occasionally play football on a monday with work people. However if you dont know the right person then you wont be put on the email chain and therefore wont know about it.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Stellantis to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because for all its faults its a big business and gives a very good opportunity to experience corporate life and develop a lot of different skills along the way. Also there are some very competitive perks that come with the role that would be extremely difficult to find in another company.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Stellantis?
  • I would just advise people to try and network as much as possible. Talk to as many new people as you can and just try and build relationships with people around the business as this will help no end with difficult tasks that you may need help with and will make life more enjoyable whilst you are here.
